Lisa has been a professional massage therapist for 25+ years working with the general public, children, prenatal clients, the elderly and individuals with special needs. Having been trained in Swedish, deep tissue as well as sports massage techniques she has successfully treated many physical injuries over the years.
Lisa also earned her Masters degree in acupuncture from the N.E. School of Acupuncture. So depending on what a client’s issues are she often combines the two modalities into a unique treatment tailored to that individual’s needs. “I believe strongly in the restorative and healing powers of massage; however the addition of acupuncture takes the treatment to an even deeper level.” “I get great joy out of getting to know my clients and watching their health improve”. It is not at all uncommon for Lisa to watch her clients’ sense of well-being, sleep and daily functions improve with regular treatments of massage & acupuncture together. During her years of practice she has had success in treating: anxiety, ulcerative colitis, insomnia, pain, limited range-of-motion issues, women’s health issues plus general immunity boosting.
A unique treatment tailored for your individual needs. Lisa combines acupuncture, massage & cupping (if needed) during one session. The addition of acupuncture takes the treatment to a deeper level. Each treatment is based on your unique presentation of physical, emotional, spiritual health plus your health history. “I believe strongly in the restorative and healing powers of massage,” says Lisa.

Some of those modalities might include: CranioSacral therapy, Trigger Point therapy, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Positional Release, Neuromuscular Facilitation, Reiki, and acupressure. Very effective in treating some chronic pain issues such as sciatica, acute injuries such as whiplash, sports-related injuries, carpal tunnel and other repetitive stress injuries (RSIs), plus physical traumas such as accidents involving falling-down, bicycling, and automobiles.
